Hi, my name is Matthew Geist

I am the owner/operator of East Sacramento Frameworks. I specialize in custom picture framing with a concentration on creative designs, friendly/prompt service with a dedication to proper conservation techniques.

I have a background in painting and most of all printmaking which sparked my initial appreciation for works on paper and art conservation that has followed me my entire life.

My number one priority is the preservation and conservation of my client's work and of course, to make it shine. All of my materials are acid-free and built to conserve artwork. I have many different frame mouldings in a variety of styles, finishes, and colors that will bring any piece to life.

I am also an artist myself so I understand the need for integrity and a sharp eye for building, fitting and displaying art. Here in my shop, I have on display some of my own work and many examples of other pieces that can help guide my clients to a finished product that will look amazing in their homes.
